Managing Authority of Operational Program "Innovations and Competitiveness" 2014-2020 published the list of approved for funding project proposals (Decision № RD-16-1035 / 26.11.2015 ) under the First deadline (of three in total) under procedure BG16RFOP002-2.001 "Improving the production capacity in SMEs." In a statement to the media today the Minister of Economy Bozhidar Lukarski stated that the Managing Authority is looking for the opportunity to increase the budget of the procedure with approximately 100 million lev. In case such a decision is taken, another 200 proposals will additionally be financed.
From the ministry will try to sign the contracts under the approved projects proposals under the First deadline before the holidays. In the process of evaluating are the submitted applications under the Second deadline (total 280). The results of the evaluation will probably come out by the end of the year and the contracts will be signed in January 2016. At the same time it is expected to find out the approved project proposals under the Third deadline, which are 203 in total.
According to Lukarski, this procedure is radically different not only from what is held in the Ministry of Economy, but in the way of evaluation. "For the first time we apply electronically, which created challenges for the people of the Managing Authority" - he said and claimed that such a transparent procedure has not been carried out so far. He may prove right.
