Budget under Measure 4.2 and changes in the implementation of Measure 4.1 were announced

In Plovdiv, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Vassil Grudev announced that during 2016 budget under Measure 4.2 "Investments in processing / marketing of agricultural products" will be 500 million Euros. The initial ranking of the measure will be made by the end of the upcoming week. It is likely this to be the first and last admission under this measure.

During the fourth national meeting of the agricultural producers organized by the Bulgarian Association of Agricultural Producers, the executive director of the State Fund of Agriculture - Rumen Porozhanov, announced the upcoming changes in the implementation of Measure 4.1 "Investments in agricultural holdings" of the Rural Development Program. The maximum amount of eligible expenses will be 1 million Euros and the maximum subsidy amount - 60%.

Forthcoming is the introduction of new eligible activities - investments in the creation or improvement of irrigation systems and elements of irrigation infrastructure in the farms.

There are also changes in the evaluation criteria: Drops out the priority of "bio transition", reduction of the burden on the criteria of the Northwest region from 9 points to 5 points, and it is divided into three regions: Vidin, Vratsa, Montana - 5 points; Lovech - 2 points; Pleven – 1 point.
