The Managing Authority of Operational Program "Innovations and Competitiveness" 2014-2020 published for public discussion the guidelines project for application under scheme BG16RFOP002-3.001 "Energy Efficiency for Small and Medium Enterprises".

The main goal of the program is providing support for the Bulgarian small and medium enterprises for promoting the implementation of energy efficiency measures in order to achieve a sustainable growth and competitiveness of the economy.

The total amount of financial aid under the procedure is 90,000,000 euro (176 024 700 lev). The minimum amount of financial aid per project is 50 000 lev and the maximum amount is 1,500,000 lev.

Submission and evaluation of project proposals will be made entirely electronically, which will be conducted by the Informational System for Management and Monitoring (2020) with the use of a Qualified Electronic Signature (QES).

It is expected that the official reception will begin March this year, the deadline for preparation and submission of project proposals will be 5 months.
